About me
Hi, I'm Cheree
I'm a content producer, video creator and presenter with almost a decade of experience creating stories that capture attention and connect with audiences.
From producing breaking news to creating social-first brand campaigns, I've built my career around one thing: bringing stories to life in a way that people genuinely want to watch.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Communication in 2017, I joined the New Zealand Herald as a Multimedia Sports Reporter before moving into a producing and presenting role, where I launched and led the Herald's digital-first news show, NZH Focus.
For three years, I independently produced and presented the Focus Morning Bulletin, under my leadership, the weekday show grew to more than one million weekly views across the NZ Herald website, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Throughout my journalism career, I've covered some of New Zealand's biggest stories and international events, including the Rugby World Cup, Paris Olympic Games, America's Cup, the Covid-19 pandemic, Cyclone Gabrielle and the Wellington Parliament protest.
Today, I bring that same editorial mindset to brands and businesses, creating authentic, high-performing content people actually want to watch,
Based in Auckland, I work with brands, agencies and businesses across New Zealand, producing social media content, commercial campaigns and corporate video.
Whether I'm producing a campaign from concept to delivery, presenting on camera, creating UGC or developing a content strategy, I combine editorial storytelling with creative thinking to produce content that delivers real impact.
